Hey everyone,
My name is Kassey, and I want to change the world with one person at a time. I want to touch the lives of others through my actions. I am starting this blog because i want to know each and everyone of you. I want to hear and know your personal story. What sets you apart from everyone else? Tell me your story or your friends story. Or if you just want to talk about something that someone has done for you that has changed your life, share it with me. I would love to hear it.
Thanks so much for reading,
Kassey<3
P.S. First post!(: yeah .
Hi Kassey, my name is Kail Pooler. You know me, right? I met you at the main Campus of StarShine Academy Main Campus, ad I drew you a picture. By the way, I have a new one that I'm dying to get to you.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, that's not why I'm on your blog. You said to post about how you're amazing, so here I go.
I am an author. I am not yet published, but I'm working very hard on getting my first novel done. It is called The Magical Preparatory Academy-- Kail's Story.
I have won awards for my writing, most recently one for Mental Health Awareness, which gave me $150.
I am an artist. I am teaching the entire school of StarShine St. John's art next year. People say that I am the best artist in the school.
I am an actor. While I haven't done much with it, I am an amazing actor. I have played leads multiple times at my previous school, Paseo Hills.
I am a reporter. I work with KFNX 1100 AM, and I have a media badge to prove it. In fact, next week I'll be going on radio.
I am a leader. I've taken all of the opportunities that I have been offered, and I have been in Student Council multiple times. Last year I competed for Vice President at StarShine and I won.
I am adopted. I was adopted into the Pooler Family at the age of 4 months. I was originally born from Jessica Schwartz, but when she ran away I was taken by CPS.
I am an uncle. I know that it's not much of an achievement, but I love my nieces and nephews more than anything. They live not even a mile away, and I walk over there all the time. I love to see them and give them hugs that squeeze the guts out of them. They are my inspiration.
I am a good friend. I have lots of friends, and I talk with them and try to make them feel better. I love to make them laugh, because it makes me laugh. And, as you may know, laughter is the cure to cancer, among other things.
But most of all, I am a role model. I love children, and I agree with you that modern-day society celebrities are mostly berserk and demented. I wish that people like us, like you and me, would be the celebrities that everybody could learn from. Like Oprah or Ellen, the people who inspire and are the true role models in this world.
And that's exactly who I am. I'm not just a 14-year-old, I am me. I am Kail Pooler, whether you like it or not.
Hi Kali,
ReplyDeleteI had a chance to meet Kassey and she is pretty cool. I would love to hear more about your book and your goals for getting it published. Is there a place where it can be read?
Although, I'm much older then you guys, I do have a 5 year old son and the hardest thing is teaching kids how to grow up to be role models. Many kids these days can not look up to thier parents because their parents have never been taught how to be a positive role model. In fact, many parents think it is ok to be their childs friend.
Kali,
you seem to be a inspiration for kids that have over come many obstacles. Instead of complaining about it, your doing things to make your life and others better.
I'm glad to see kids out there that do care and want to make this world better. Your in good company with Kassy too, she is classic.
